Nov. 18th, 2010 08:28 pmThe neck of a "Squier Strat Affinity (by Fender)" is not compatible with a "Squier by Fender Stratocaster" body.
The backplates may be the same and thus the hole matrix is the same but they do not line up.
But are so close to being the same that one would have to fill the current screw holes and drill new ones or they would fall into each other.
And the machine head holes are different.
Also (perhaps last week) why Squier is/wasn't just a typo for Squire.
