The neck of a "Squier Strat Affinity (by Fender)" is not compatible with a "Squier by Fender Stratocaster" body.
The backplates may be the same and thus the hole matrix is the same but they do not line up.
But are so close to being the same that one would have to fill the current screw holes and drill new ones or they would fall into each other.
And the machine head holes are different.


Also (perhaps last week) why Squier is/wasn't just a typo for Squire.

In other news: my SuperYob's neck is settling well, and should be fit for a SetUp soon. Although it needs little as the intonation seems good. However, the manipulation and interaction of the truss rod is a Complete Mystery to me. I'm getting used to the Crazy Balance but believe an alternative strap button location will help it sit snugly on my Gentleman's Paunch.
