A business colleague of mine is involved in setting up a system for a medical establishment (forget if NHS or private) near Oxford.
He is interested in acquiring a support/training person local to that area for the system being installed (some shrinkwrap records gubbins?) and asked me if I knew anyone. I said I'd post in a few places.
Sorry if that's a bit nebulous but that's what I know.

Jobs, a popular topic
Aug. 31st, 2005 03:27 pmThe pleaseant part is that (so far today) two agencies have rung me.
The bad part is one job was in Southampton and the other was Googe Street for only c£40K, which is plain not obscene enough for me to touch London as a commuter.
Not even bailiffs would get me to commute. Guns or unresistable prostution payments perhaps.

And so to Hemel
Aug. 3rd, 2005 06:03 pmToday I went to Hemel Hempsted for an interview for a contract job at Fuji.
Seemed to go quite well, and was heartened in many ways, especially that I was apparently on the younger slope of the bell curve of interviewees' ages!!
Also that I'd worked in their industry (digital printing & pre-press) before.
And new what XUL was.
And some of the people I worked with at Harlequin are already there.
Hope they put in a GOOD word...
Expect to hear about second interview for next week; many appendages crossed!
