New toys

Another PC that is, not as good as my main PC but a fair deal, mainly because of the 19 flat monitor bundled with it. In fact, "new monitor with bundled PC" is more my view of it.

The new screen is now on my KVM switch and is interesting to see what looks good where.
The XP Home on the box it came with is "hmmm ok....", cranked back from 1200x1024 to 1154x something to suit the icon size I feel comfortable with.
The Win2K box is rubbish, there isn't a setting that doesn't jitter, but it's old hardware.
The Ubuntu box is fine but only goes up to 1154x whatever so I'm hunting nicer drivers. It's a P3 from uncanic which is my webserver so I don't look at it much.
The Redhat 9 box running mainly Thunderbird is A Shining Joy To Behold ! :-) which is running on a Bitza from fusalys's Pete.

It's only the cheap dell 19" so I suppose it's "fair".
Next toy step would be a quality model to replace the 21" washing machine at which I am sat to type this. Which is great to look at but something of a cathode ray juggernaut.
Hmmmmm TWO new panels...??
